Do you want to Scuba Dive or learn how to scuba dive in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean? You are at the right place. UWIL has been in existence for the past 8 years.

At UWIL, we train swimmers and  divers and have made a name for ourselves as the number one training facility in Trinidad. On site we have our own training pool over 30 ft long and 8 ft deep, air-conditioned classroom, changing rooms, equipment for commercial diving, scuba diving and rental on site.   We are known for serving persons of all ages and our prices for training and equipment are the best in the market. We offer PDIC, PADI, and SSI  international scuba diving certifications,we provide a standard of training that is comparable to any other training facility in the world.

UWIL was set up to facilitate the needs of the growing commercial diving industry in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean. We recognised that a large number of the companies were utilising persons with scuba diving certifications to perform commercial diving jobs for private and state agencies. This is not a safe practice as these scuba divers are not trained with the proper skills and knowledge expected and required of commercial divers.  At UWIL, we have the personnel and equipment to adequately train commercial divers to work in both the local and international commercial diving industry.

Our Managing Director, Glenn Cheddie, is a dive professional, who has been involved in the diving industry in Trinidad, Tobago,Caribbean, Canada,and USA  for the past Twenty four (24) years.He has thousands of log scuba dives and over 500 hrs log commercial dives. He has trained hundreds of students in scuba certifications world wide and has trained commercial divers and underwater welders who are presently employed in the field. He has traveled the world to get his certifications and  is highly qualified and possesses the following DEGREE, CERTIFICATIONS AND INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATIONS..A TOTAL OF 15 DIFFERENT CERTIFICATIONS. he has presenly competed his Captains Boat Licence and earns the title Captain Glenn. 

Captain Glenn will be driving the companies 40 ft diving power yacht from Melbourne Florida to Trinidad loging over 1000 nautical miles.
