PADI RECREATIONAL SCUBA DIVER TRAINING COURSES

Scuba diving in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean allows us to experience the whole new world awaiting us under the sea. At UWIL, we provide the internationally certified training necessary to be able to dive anywhere in the world.

For the new diver, we offer PDIC, PADI AND SSI Scuba diving certifications. We even offer swimming classes at our in-house pool for those who want to dive and cannot swim.

For the experienced diver, we offer courses in Advance Scuba,  Public Safety Diver, Underwater Crime Investigator, Rescue Diving, Dive Supervisor/Master, Scuba Diver Instructor Training and Nitrox Recreational Diving.  

Our instructors and dive masters are professionals in the field , friendly and patient and we always put the diver’s safety first. On each of our dives, you can be assured that we will have our emergency first aid equipment and oxygen available on site and fully functional. We also have access to hyperbaric chambers in the vicinity of the dive sites and our instructors are trained in chamber operation.

We offer Open Water Recreational Scuba classes every SATURDAY. Students are advised to book in advance, as the classes have limited space and fill up quickly. Give us a call or send us an e-mail to make the booking.

COURSE DETAILS AND PRICING

1.      PADI Open Water Recreational Scuba Diver (PDIC/PADI/ SSI )

·          two (2) DAYS  theory classes

·         Two (2) DAYS pool dives and four (4-5) open water/sea dives OR more if you are not comfortable at NO EXTRA CHARGE

·         Cost: *TT$2250.00 (includes boat trip to and from the dive site, use of dive equipment and certification card) * depending on agency certification price may vary.

2.      Advanced Open Water Scuba Recreational Diver (PDIC/PADI/SSI)

·         This course is conducted In TRINIDAD and in  TOBAGO over three (3) days.

·         One (1) theory class

·         Five (5) open water/sea dives – deep dive, night dive, drift dive including navigational dive and peak performance dive

·         Cost: TRINIDAD- $2800 TT   TOBAGO $3800.00 (includes transport to/from and accommodations in TRINIDAD OR TOBAG, transport to dive site, use of dive equipment and certification card)

3.      Rescue Diver (PDIC/PADI/ SSI STRESS AND RECOVERY)

·         Two (2) days theory classes

·         Two (2) days pool dives and two (2) days open water/sea dives

·         Cost: TT$2500 (  include, boat trip to and from dive site, use of dive equipment and certification card)

NOTE: STUDENTS MUST FIRST COMPLETE FIRST AID / CPR / AED CERTIFICATION WITH US ( $ 350.00) BEFORE ATTENDING THE ABOVE COURSE.

4.      Dive Supervisor/Master (PDIC/PADI)

·         On the job training  and theory classes for six (6) months

·         Prerequisite: At least 60 logged dives

·         Cost: TT$6500

5.      Public Safety Diver: -3 certifications

·        Theory Topics:        

§        Rescue 1 - Two (2) theory classes, one (1) pool  and two (2) open water dives.

§         Rescue 2 - Two (2) theory classes and four (4) open water dives.

§         Underwater crime Investigator – Five (5) theory classes for 15 hours with 200 exam questions.  

·         Cost: $4000. Note that persons with the Rescue Diver Certification will be exempted from Rescue1 and total cost will be $3000.
